EMDR Adjunct Services
Adjunct therapy does not replace or interrupt ongoing therapy; it is supplemental to the primary therapeutic relationship. I partner with your primary therapist to target specific memories, body, sensations, or limiting beliefs with EMDR. By focusing on specific distressful memories or intrusive material, you can accelerate progress in traditional therapy, resolve stuck points, and enrich your ongoing work with your primary therapist.
This type of therapy is usually short term (about 4-12 extended sessions) and the intensive format is used for scheduling. The success of adjunct work is based on clearly defined goals for me, these are defined in collaboration with you and your primary therapist.
